In the third quarter of 2023, top-down games on the iOS platform in Africa exhibited diverse performance trends across revenue, downloads, and active users. The following analysis highlights the performance of the top five games in this category based on data from Sensor Tower.

8 Ball Pool™ from Miniclip.com saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $4.8K in the last week of July. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, oscillating around 20K, with a slight increase towards the end of September. Active users experienced minor variations, maintaining a range between 790K and 880K weekly.

Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game by Amanotes Pte. Ltd. displayed a modest peak in weekly revenue at around $397 in mid-August. Downloads surged during the first half of August, reaching a high of 26.4K, before decreasing to 12.4K by the end of September. Active users showed a decline from 124K in early August to 101K by the end of September.

Bridge Race from SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD exhibited relatively stable weekly downloads, averaging around 15K for most of the quarter. Revenue peaked at $166 in early August, while active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining a range between 52K and 59K throughout the quarter.
